San Miguel de Allende Guanajuato retired Family Nurse Practitioner, NIA body movement instructor, life practitioner Married 1
I am so sorry that I won't be able to come to the reunion.  I am hoping that everyone has a great time that exceeds all expectations.

After high school, I was in San Diego for a time, attending Mercy College of Nursing and the University of San Diego.  After graduation, I quickly moved to Berkely.  The times were different then, Vietnam War, dreams lost, lessons learned.  For a brief time, I returned to San Diego and worked as an RN at Mercy Hospital.  Shortly after, I traveled the U. S., got married, and then moved to Northern California.  I became disillusioned with the hospital based nursing profession, attended U. C. Davis,  and became one of the first Family Nurse Practitioners (1974).  For almost 30 years, I worked in Family Practice, then dropped out, retired, traveled through the U.S. once again.  On New Year's day in 2002 (shortly after 911) my husband, Michael (35 years married), and I drove down to San Miguel De Allende, Mexico.  We thought we were going to enter the Peace Corps after a year, studied Spanish and never returned stateside to live.  We now live full-time in Mexico, own a home (without mortgage), donate our time to charities and can not imagine returning to our former lives.  The picture I included is a picture of us in Colorado at the Great Stupa of Dharmakaya at Rocky Mountain Shambhala Center in Colorado.  Peace and love to each of you and your friends and families.  Contact me and come for a visit any time you like.

San Diego California owner and teacher of Self-Heal school selfhealschool.com Committed Relationship 3

Hi everyone! 40 years? That's amazing. Hmm...where to start.  For the past 29 years I have been living in San Diego, actually in Ocean Beach with John Finch whom I seemed to have quite a large destiny with.  3 red haired wild kids later, now in their 20's. we are almost free.  Our daughter Cally is still at home.  We all love the ocean and all the kids surf and bodyboard. I just swim which is wonderful.  John and I also created an herb school and have been teaching herbology and energy healing since l983.  We attended Rosemary Gladstar's herb school in Northern California and came back to San Diego and started our own school.  People used to laugh at us at Earth Day.  Nobody believed herbs worked.  Times have changed luckily.  So now I walk by the ocean and on the pier, do lots of herbal consultations, and energy healings, teach clinical herbology which I love and I sing.  Finally found a great voice teacher and an awesome choir to help me through my almost empty nest.  Check out our website if you like:  selfhealschool.com.  I just put on a beautiful women's retreat in Idylwild.  Can't believe Caren Chase lives up there.  Ha.  Look forward to catching up with all of you.  Does anyone know where Susie Schultheis is or Barry Sherman?

Lake Oswego OR Community College Instructor Married 2
I'm still married (36 years) to Gregg. We moved from L. A. to the beautiful northwest 20 years ago. I have been teaching at Portland Community College for 17 years in a job-share position.

As I read everybody's news, I continue to be impressed with the intelligence, talent, and basic goodness of the class of 67.

Best wishes to all--see you at the 50th!

San Jose, CA. Project Mgr, Telecommunicataions Divorced
Wow . . .  soo many of you have already retired . . .  I'm Jealous !   big smile

After serving 4 fyears in the Air Force I returned to college, this time on the GI Bill, earning degrees in Electronics & Business.

I met the love of my life at San Deiego State.  We married in '76 and moved to Silicon Valley after graduation.  Over time we grew apart and in 1990 we divorced.  No children.  I haven't remarried . . . But I am "dating" !  wink.wink!   At Golden Gate University I earned my Masters in Telecommunications.  During my working carrier I have held positions with Westinghouse and Sprint Communications.   The last 20 years I have been with the Federal Government as a Project Mgr.

Currently I am looking forward to joining all y'll in retirement !   I have been fortunate enough to have visited Europe a couple of times and have fallen in love with Italy!   One of my goals in retirement is to spend  1 or 2 months, each year, in Italy.  My Financial Planner is telling me, "You can do it"   but . . .  we'll see.  I  mange to stay busy volunteering with Villa Montalvo Performing Arts Center in Los Gatos.  As a member of Habitat for Humanity I have journeyed to New Orleans, twice, helping to rebuild The Big Easy  where I  discovered Zydaco music & Cajun food !  Wow!   And I enjoy spending time at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco.  I thoroughly enjoy the cultural & culinary delights in The City!

All of my family is still here in the county and I love having one foot in San Diego and the other one in the Bay Area !   My Great challenges these days are trying to stay under 190 pounds and trying to make it to the gym three or four times a week!

El Cajon California Real Estate Developer Married 3

It looks like I am one of the few that stayed local, Southwestern College, San Diego State, and  have always lived in the area. I spend my time between our Mt. Helix home and our ocean front beach home in South Mission.

I have been happily married for 35 years  to my College sweetheart. We have 3 sons and a spectacular daughter-in law who is expecting our first grand child (it's a girl!) in December.

I am partly retired and do not plan on ever fully retiring. I am been developing  and buying real estate in San Diego for over 30 years and love doing it.  It keeps me young.

In my spare time we enjoy traveling, golf, hiking, working out, riding bikes, snow skiing, and a nice bottle of wine.

LIFE IS GOOD!

I will not be at the reunion.  Have fun and see you in 2017.

San Diego Ca retired Widowed 1
Real fun to read classmates' histories.  I remained in San Diego and have been a City Planner with the County of San Diego for many years.  Retired in 2005.  Lost my wonderful wife of 23 years to illness in 2002.  Have a daughter, Shayna, who is a terrific teacher, and mom to my grandson, Tyler.  Have a new life partner, Rose, who was also a City Planner.  We have a good time traveling, gardening, hiking, maintaining our houses, and square dancing.  Sure would like to find out what happened to some of the fellow, so-called nerds, that I hung out with at Hilltop. El Cajon CA Retired (Engineer) Married 3

Clearly the best move I made in the 40 years since graduation was to marry my high school sweetheart, Linda Littlehale. We have 3 wonderful children who have been continual blessings in our lives. I received my degree in Electrical Engineering from SDSU and worked at General Dynamics here in San Diego until they moved to Denver in 1994. I retired recently from Cubic Corporation, also here in San Diego. Thanks to all of you on the organizing committee! The web site is great and we appreciate all of the hard work you are putting in to make this a great event.
