March 29, 1949 El Cajon CA Building Inspector Divorced 2
40 years - wow.  Haven't seen many of you in that amount of time.  From high school to the Army, then to SDSU for my BA in Graphics.  Married for 16 years, divorced for 18 .  I've got 2 wonderful adult children.   My sisters and their husbands joined me in a trip to Puebla near Mexico City for my daughters wedding in May where I had a stroke. Thanks to them, I got to a hospital in the states right away. Up until May, I've spent the last 15 years in the construction industry. Worked for Sears for 27 years in a number of positions...advertising initially, and traveling the country remodeling and building new Sears stores for the last 7 of those 27. Then traveled nationally again for a small retailer in San Diego, setting up their stores after TI work on the premises.  And finally began work as a third party inspector of new residential single/multi-family homes, high rises and mid rises for a company based out of Poway.  Thanks to the care and love from not only my sisters, their husbands and my kids, but Barbara Davis (O'Meara) as well, I have been able to manage fairly well.  I always had a crush on Barbara in high school, but never had the nerve to say more than a few words to her. Then I saw her entry on this website and decided to email her. It was the best thing I ever did. Stroke and all we got together, and as they say, the rest is history. I've never laughed so much in my entire life...it seems to be good medicine. Am anxious to see all of you, and look forward to the planned events.

Nevada City CA Retired USAF Married
Hello to everbody.
It's been an eventful 40 years.  I joined the Air Force in 1968 after the selective service raised the height limit to be drafted.  22 years later I retired from it.  I was fortunate to live in many different places and countries.  I first went to Delaware where I ran into Juan Lopez. (Hello Juan).  I also got to live in Italy, Athens and Turkey (twice).  I spent a year on an island at the end of the Aleutians in Alaska.  I now live in a small old mining town in the foothills of the Sierras and loving it.  I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of people from the old days.

La Mesa Cal. Self-employed Married 2
Life after graduation, I made a lackadaisical attempt at Southwestern, but for the times that America was going though I enlisted in the Army in January 1968. First duty station was Livorno, Italy, outside Pisa til November 1969 then a tour in Bien Hoe, Viet Nam.
Married Olivia (Fegurgur) in February1973 and raised two boys, Gabriel and Andrew. We have been blessed with four grandchildren, Ashley, Gigi, Liliana and Gabriel Jr.
In late 1971 started in the trades as an apprentice in appliance repair and became a State Certified master tech. 3 years later.
In 1976 transplanted our family to the island of Guam in the Marianas. We sxperienced Olivia's family heritage and the culture of the Chamorro people and the life in the Mariana Islands. While on the island I expanded my skills in the trade to commercial refrigeration. We returned to the States one year later after going though one of the islands biggest typhoons on record so Olivia could feel safe in the birth of our second child Andrew.
In 1980 I established a partnership in a company, ASI. Five years later sold out to my partner and worked for him for about 5 years as the companies lead tech. Then in 1990 started another company, Ram Service Center, as a sole proprietorship and at this time still in business but weaning myself off of the full time work into the semi-retirement phase and looking forward to a full retirement mode.
Olivia has worked with a private catholic school, the Academy of Our Lady of Peace in San Diego, for the past 18 year. Before that a full time Mom, soccer, T-ball, football, Cub Scout, CCD, PTA, and all the other hats she wore plus being the best friend and wife anyone could ever have.
We are both looking forward to our retiremnet and moving to our retreat home in the Cuyamaca Mountains near the lake. Also to do a lot of traveling to explore America the greatest nation on Gods green earth.                         Keep the faith and Peace to all

Santa Monica CA Lawyer Single

Greatly appreciate the efforts of everyone to try to make it to our 40th.
In some ways my life has been happier than I could have imagined.  In others more disappointing.  (Maybe that's just life, right?)
Was not interested in marrying until I got into my late 30s.  I suppose if the right person had come along sooner I might have been interested sooner.  But in my forties and fifties I came close a couple of times.  I just felt in the end it would have been too great a compromise to follow through.
Now I'm happy embarrassing myself flirting with much younger women (I call it flirting; I think they call it harassment) at tango classes and milongas (tango dances).   I usually take a couple classes a week.
Around the time of the last winter Olympics I was cast as a lead dancer for a Visa commercial.  Trust me, it was not because of my dancing skill.  But at the last moment Visa chose not to run the spot.  (I know this sounds like a fish story.)
I still work on screenplays when I have time.  My most fulfilling creative endeavor.
Have also been studying modern Greek.  And after many years of study (but not including my classes at HHS I'm afraid) have become fairly fluent in Spanish.
Lawyering remains a challenge.  Most of the time I feel like a professional busybody, having to become intimately familiar with a client's business and/or personal life.  I must learn about alot of different subjects depending on the nature of the case, which I enjoy doing.
Have also greatly enjoyed studying over the years an eclectic group of philosophers and spiritual teachers, including Spinoza, Gurdjieff, Lao Tse, Jesus somewhat, and many more modern what I call spiritual psychologists.  If anyone is familiar with Spinoza's Ethics, I have many questions for you.
I ran HHS on You Tube and came up with a few interesting videos.  The class of '62 had several nostalgic and fun clips.
I think Bill Koteff has done a terrific job setting up this website, and hope everyone will make the reunion either personally, or, through the website, in spirit.
